Encryption address information

In the Trust version it is possible to encrypt address information from certain persons and companies in the Service Companies.

For example when it is not desired that all users can see the Address information of these relations like an UBO.

See also the whitepaper 'Procedure to store and protect UBO information'.

To use this function in the settings Trust> General the option 'Encrypt address information relations' has to be set.

When the option is set, a button Dblock appears in the tabpage General of Companies and Persons.
The button is green when information is not encrypted and red when information is encrypted.

Users must have the right General Relations 'Access to encrypted address information' to see and use the button.

By pressing the Dblockbutton the screen 'Encrypted information' will appear.

The address information will only be visible on this screen.

The information will be encrypted and saved to another part of the database.

The address fields on tabpage Addresses at companies and persons will become greyed out and empty.

The fields Name and Search name on tabpage General at companies and persons are not  greyedout.

When a relation also must be unrecognizable by name to users who do not have access, the name of the relation can be encrypted as well.

This can be done by changing Name and Search name in de tabpage General at companies and persons to, for example, the Code of the relation.
The real name of the relation is then only visible in the screen 'Encrypted information'

Use of Encrypted data

The encrypted fields are not supported by any functionality, for example mailing, telebanking etc.

There is no report to print this information.

The encrypted data can only be consulted on screen by pressing the Dblock button.
