Installation > Starting up Mill7

When Mill7 is installed single-user, a short-cut for starting Mill7 is created in the Start menu of Windows, sub menu Programs.

Creating a short-cut

If no short-cut is present for Mill7, you can create one yourself.

For example: Mill7 is installed in the folder F:\Mill7.

In the short-cut the Target and Start in properties must be set as follows.

Target: F:\Mill7\Mill7.exe

Start in: F:\Mill7

The icon for the short-cut is embedded in the Mill7.exe file and will be selected automatically.

As an alternative the icon file m.ico, present in the Mill7 folder, can be used.

The short-cut properties can be changed by right-clicking the short-cut and then select Properties in the context menu that pops up.

Start up

By double clicking the short-cut a log on screen will appear.

Enter your user code and password and press the OK button.

In the single-user installation Mill7 logs on automatically as the SUPERV user.
